CPM Scheduling

VEGA consultants have experience with the scheduling specifications of all the state DOTs and Transit agencies in the North East. We use the Earned Value technique which is the best practice for project controls process which is based upon a structured approach to planning, cost collection and performance measurement.

Cost Estimating

We provide estimating Services to Architects and Engineers on the fast track and within limited budgets. Vega Specializes in providing estimating services for Design and Construction projects. VEGA has an inhouse estimating department and our staff has over 30 years of combined experience, our firm provides the following Cost Estimating Services that are structured to meet the complex needs of our clients. We utilize various industry standard estimating programs in addition to our own database of costs. Cost Estimating service offerings include:

  • Cost Estimates at every phase of project, from master planning – as built
  • Value Engineering/Management; Review Change Order Pricing 
  • Construction Management/Contractor Estimate Reviews

Document Control/ Reporting/ Dashboards (KPI)

We use a computerized database system to control and monitor all documents generated during the course of each project. Documents controlled within the system include the following:

Through trend analysis of cost and scheduling data, cost engineers closely monitor the actual performances and compare these with the planned performance. This can identify a negative trend early, so that it is not too late for corrective measures to be taken resulting in meeting both budget as well as time requirements.
